There's a new line added to the car performance files:
"<UpgradeTempFactor/>"

This wasn't there last patch, and it points toward potentially being able to upgrade the tire temperature behavior in the future. Whether that's in a patch, the next game, or whatever, who knows, but I was quite surprised when I noticed it.

Alternatively, it could be used to emulate the warm up differences we see from car to car in real life, e.g. Mercedes are slow to warm up thier tires, so they could be scaled down a bit. This was not possible before, but it is now.

Edit: Just looked again, and as it turns out, there are lines in the performance files for upgrading tire temps, so it's definitely a thing. It seems to be tied to downforce upgrades, so when you upgrade your downforce, you'll lower the tire temps as well. Neat.
