Driver Moves Career

Hi all

looking to start my first Career Championship (not MyTeam) soon. Yes, really, only now…. Question about the ‘driver moves’ function. If I switch this on, will drivers move mid season? Or only at the end?

    @peter75pc They will move mid season as well. I believe! I only play my team. But from I remember reading on here plus my experiences in my team. They do move.

    If you turn them off. Driver transfers will still happen at the end of a season. If a driver retires.

    As @ScarDuck14 said above, yes they do and im not sure if this still happens but be prepared for some crazy moves

    Could always turn them off and then after round 13 turn them back on again so they only happen at the end of the season.

    That sounds intriguing! Was not aware yet that could be done. Will look into it 😁

    @peter75pc After 5-6 careers i am not sure how this option works. All careers had been with the option on and in some of them i didn't saw a driver move in 3 seasons (except the one when a driver retires and somebody took his place like Piastri). I think somehow it's scripted, when you start a career it's a certain script for that one! In another one i replaced Leclerc at Ferrari (they kept Sainz which is kind of dumb IMO) and he was stuck at Williams for 2 seasons while other transfers were made and i am pretty sure another top team would have grab him in a minute in real life 🙂
