Driver retirements
I'm trying to simulate through a season in my career and get ONLY Vettel to retire, but it seems the game is hard coded to have him and at least one other driver, Bottas or Alonso, to retire with him...

I think there is some 'randomness' in this, but definitely not any ways to 'control' (or avoid) who or when they retire.
In F1 2021, I would always ask a few other friends about who retired in their careers and we would get a lot of different and even a bit crazy and funny scenarios, like for example, to me, Kimi retired on the very first season, but for another friend, Kimi was there for all 10 seasons - LOL
Now on F1 22, I'm currently playing my one and only MyTeam career and I'm at the end of season 3, so I had so far:
Season 1 - Vettel & Alonso retired
Season 2 - Sainz retired
Season 3 - Hamilton will retire
@SexyBrigadeiro Never been a expert on driver retirements. Once I maxed car and facilities and won both championships. I’d get bored and Always by season 3 I’d restart and try a different starting variation off engines and upgrades. 5 seasons was the longest I lasted. So never saw many retirees.

I always play the whole 10 seasons and I agree that it gets a bit boring after around Season 3, but here's what I'm trying now on F1 22 and it's been working 'well' for now:
I REDUCED the Resource Points generation for me AND for the AIs as well - I kept the money generation at Normal and everything else is normal as well - and then it's taking longer to develop my car - and the AIs cars - to the maximum.
And the Regulation Changes are a bigger setback now, forcing everyone to keep re-developing the car parts, etc..
I'm currently at the end of Season 3 and I'm getting Regulation Changes again (it happened in Season 1, but not in Season 2) and now I'm having 3 departments being affected and maybe not enough Resource Points to save all parts on all 3 departments, I guess (I'm still trying to save them all), but on the other hand, I already have 19 parts on each one of the 4 departments (the total parts vary around 23/24), so I'm actually pretty close to full development after 3 seasons, even with a slower/smaller Resource Points generation - maybe I just got lucky by not getting too many of my developments failing, or it's actually faster/easier to develop the car on F1 22 - I wonder how easy/quick it is on Normal or even Increased Resource Points generation - maybe you can get a 100% full developed car before the end of season 2 - LOL

- @SexyBrigadeiro This, stretching out the season definitely keep it more interesting for a longer duration.
I even went a little extreme and drop the resource gain to only 25% for both me and AI by using CE. It really made prioritizing upgrade a much more important task as it'll impact everyone for way more races at a time.@ScarDuck14
I'm actually on both places, mate, but on Twitch I'm 'live' and then I only export my F1 22 streams to YT, where I have 2 channels.. SexyBrigadeiro and SexyBrigadeiroGames - sorry for advertising again, but.. I'm just sayin'..

That sounds interesting, but I wouldn't go that far as you did, although I admit that reducing it by just 50% is being easier than I thought so far.. maybe 33% would be the ideal, I don't know.. I wish we could have more control over that matter through the game itself..
