It should be I'd imagine since it was a popular request.
I'm hoping this year we can have control over it all as an option so we can avoid moves like Latifi to Ferrari and being able to decide when a driver retires. Might be unrealistic but I'd rather have the choice of having Alonso or Vettel in season 10 rather than a grid of F2 drivers.
- Meza9944 years agoSeasoned Ace@Cpayne32 F3 is cool but with the current state of F2 and driver transfers please, for the love of racing gods, no F3.. We are missing a lot of realism and necessary things in F1 already in the game and with a bad story mode, monetization and different cars (supercars) already taking a lot of development time 30 extra drivers, another slow car and whole AI training etc. for F3 is really a bad idea.
It would be cool if the necessary stuff is fixed first.- Liaveal4 years agoRising Veteran
F3 drivers wouldnt be that bad an idea but I agree that the actual F3 cars shouldnt be added.
They could have limits on F3 drivers like, for example, only making them available from season 4 or 5 onwards so we dont get F3 drivers jumping in too early.
That being said, I'd much rather they added former F1 drivers that could still be racing alongside the icon drivers rather than F3.
I'd be much happier seeing drivers like Kimi, Vandoorne, Vergne, Kobayashi, Hulkenberg etc. available as free agents.
The reserve drivers (Vandoorne, Giovinazzi, Hulkenberg, Kubica and de Vries) should all be manageable to add since they have all their models and they should be covered with the licenses since they're part of the teams this year. Hulk especially since hes actually raced.
