EA account is required to play

In order to play F1 you need an EA Account that needs to be connected to either your console account or Steam / Epic games, depending on where you purchased the game.

After that, you can either link your platform account with your EA Account:

I have an account I have been playing the game since launch. It's EA servers it's now affecting FIFA and madden

EA have been having some issues with their online services the last few days. It’s maybe because of this.   Some are having issues getting online.   

• But I do have an EA account I am able to access that account on my phone. I have been using that same account since the game was launched. It's not my Xbox or my account that is the reason I can't play F1 22 it's EA side. As now madden FIFA and the NHL games are also saying the same thing. I appreciate you replying but like I said in my previous reply to someone here I have an account and have been using it since launch of this game. 

I no longer have access to the old EA account linked to my playstation account. I have full access to the playstation account and my new ea account but customer service makes it impossible to unlink an old account that you've lost access to. Is there any other way to resolve this? I just spent $90 on a game and now can't even play because the customer service process for unlinking an account is broken.

No tiene logica, pero en steam foros y en youtube alguien menciono:
1.- en la pantalla del error (se necesita cuenta ea) 
2.- desconectar todos los usb (menos el teclado)
3.- reintentar conexion. 

y me funciono.
