EGO Dumper crash, Steam

I recently started having problems with by F1 22 game through Steam with the recent 1.09 update. I had started playing more often with the release of the 1.06 patch without any crashing issues, with overlays on and everything (I was even recording telemetry via TrackTitan); up until around the first crossplay weekend. Now, I can typically get some laps in before getting the EGO Dumper crash. Crashes will occasionally occur on the main menu screen, actual game play isn't required to cause a crash. I've also completed a half hour practice session before suffering a crash at the end of session menu, and after restarting the session.

I have tried numerous fixes including (in no particular order):

Disabling all overlays (Steam, Nvidia)

Deleting temp files, "F1 22" folder in "Games"

Verifying game files (Steam)

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game (Steam)

Alternate anti-ailiasing modes (all)

Checked windows firewall

Disabled VPN

Checked windows updates

Clean install of GPU drivers

Disabling as many processes as I can

Run F1 as Administrator

VSync on (or off)

Dropping graphics settings

Disable full screen optimizations

Updated Thrustmaster drivers

Recent report codes:

I also have 2 .zip error reports

So, I have news. I rolled my Windows back from 11 to 10, and F1 22 now works great. With overlays and everything.

Hey @TWillis401 thank you so much for the update, really appreciated.

I am considering doing the same.

Still confused because a friend of mine is able to play f122 on Windows 11 with no crashing issues. Maybe is not just the OS but a kind of combo of Windows+system specs.

Just bought the game for the 3rd time (!!), Twice off steam and had to get money back due to EGO dumping on launch, bought it off Origin thinking it might have to with that... still can't play it on Windows 10.

The annoying thing (keep this quiet) I have a snide copy version 1.05 and that works after the hardware folder is deleted. But I don't want to use the snide copy as I want the latest file updates. So today I bought the game again think I could get it to work after looking on YouTube and elsewhere for solutions to get the 1.05 version to work. Complete failue on the new purchase... so annoying as I don't want to be off-line on an old version. Was happy to pay for this software and yet.....

One of things I did note was when inside of the graphics settings on version 1.05 I changed the setting to DLSS and the game crashed.

I managed to get back in somehow and take that settings away.

So, me thinks I need to disable DLSS before getting into the game and I can't find anywhere how to do that for the Nvidia 3070TI and it's software... so if any of you guys or girls know how that's done I might have a fighting chance to launch this game...
