Ego Dumper Crashing, HELP

my game is now unplayable thanks to Ego Dumper Crashing. i912900k, 64 GB DDR5, everything used to play fine and last week it all went s***.

I then updated my BIOS, reformatted my computer, installed bare minimum apps. Still I can only do a lap or two and then it all crashes again.

Articles I found aren't that usable so I am hoping people here now what to do

  • Just wanted to update this. The problem all along was my power supply.

I found a few reddit posts talking about the PC shutting down without warning when starting games. I eventually swapped it out and the PC never got another shut down.
I just never thought that was the issue since I had spent a lot on the power supply.

  • @kaijuh1 i have done everything:
    -updated bios
    -checked drivers,
-sent EA support DxDiag to confirm my drivers are up to date
-reformatted my computer, install bare minimum apps
-tried the ransomware support option, deleting the my games, etc etc all of the workarounds i could find
-reinstalled both steam and the game multiple times

    its beyond frustrating
  • Update:

I reinstalled the game again in a last desperation and it seems to be working. I wont be messing with any of the settings again. It is just a shame I can't utilize my 30 series card to the fullest because the game is full of compatibility bugs.
