@tmillo To be fair, in last years game slipstream was far too little, same with dirty air.. But i also got David Greco thinking about increasing the length of both, currently its 1.5s behind maximum IRL 4-6s.. even 3s ingame would make things more realistic, dirty air around 20% (compared to 15% now) and slipstream ~12% (currently 10%) is more realistic, slipstream isnt super strong on average but if the effect starts earlier and you are faster in the corners anyway this would help quite a bit.
Baku or Jeddah are not good examples as the close walls lead to exceptional slipstream. Look at Spain for a more realistic slipstream, it can get you up to 3 tenths but it always also depends on the length of the straight, 2 km in Baku always make this a bit more extreme.. But yeah currently its scaling to 0% at 1.5s behind so at 1s it wont exceed 2% slipstream while even with it starting at 3s behind it could be at 5% by my model as its not a linear development but the closer you get the stronger the dirty air/slipstream..
Yes it can and needs to be improved a lot but i doubt it will happen for this year sadly, always the AI training ☹️
