To me F1 22 is more about "don'ts" than "dos". The best example is F1 Life - it was worth the shot but I feel like it was a waste of resources, human and budgetwise - that could be allocated into the core of the game: handling, career progression, AI balancing, several online issues that I don't experience because I only play offline but they can't be put aside.
Looking back, F1 2020 sounds like a rock solid game: great handling and the classic F1 cars. F1 2021 had better tracks (no offense but Hanoi is miles less enjoyable than Portimão or Ímola) and towards the end of its life cycle it became as solid as F1 2020.
I think the great advice CM/EA could have is to go back to the basics, focusing on the matters that are important to the core game: handling, AI leveling, laser scanned tracks.
Plus some small tweaks so many people ask like, the most noticiable being weather customization and track selection on career modes.
This focus on the game core should and must deliver a better game upon launching. It's sad to have to wait some months so the game be at a enjoyable point. Sad not only for us players but also for the devs, no one wants to deliver a rushed half finished product.
Overall, I love F1. I'll continue to buy the games but I will - just like this year - wait several months after launch to make sure most of the bugs are corrected. This shouldn't be like this unfortunately.
