If no new game engine, at least a new graphic style. Im feed up with this overstaturated, steril, style.
@Tomski_PL Even with the same game engine i believe they can bring better graphics in F1 23. F1 2017 or F1 2019 has the same game engine like F1 22 but the difference in graphics it's crystal clear, at least on my PC and i have a 27 inch 2k monitor, not talking about 4k. Maybe they will bring better graphics in F1 23.
@HempyjrThere will be minor improvements you will hardly notice. If you put 21 and 22 side by side you can see improvements on 22’s game. But they are only small
If by graphics you mean increased LOD of cars. Here is what I think. I’d love to see much more detailed bodywork on every car. Why would not include low downforce rear wings for Monza, like when you chose to race in Italy you would see it’s on the car. Likewise with high downforce at Singapore. All these little things would’ve make the game look awesome. ✌️
- @ScarDuck14 Yeah but then when we compar F1 22 with F1 25 it's a crystal clear difference in graphic 🙂) Indeed it's small comparing the previous year with the current but at least it's going forward 🙂
- @Blackbird90 That would be awesome but i am afraid we won't get this feature too soon. Even tho i don't think it's that hard to create and implement let's say 2-3 front wings and 2-3 rear wings, for each car
- @Hempyjr Exactly! Less new sofas, more diverse rear wings!
- @Blackbird90 As long as they introduce some features people are asking for here in the forum, they can bring new sofas too, i don't care about them anyway, it's not Sims, it's F1 🙂) The more features to increase immersion the better
I wonder why power unit components always fail in race only. Why could they not in FPs or quali, too? It would be more realistic, I guess.
Also, it might be good to have an opportunity to recover failed component, like an extra R&D task, paid by resource points. I am not saying to recover it fully but perhaps some percentage of it so it could still be used as PU component for FPs. Of course, I don't expect it to succeed every time, let say 50% chance to recover 20% from component.
And that could also be available to apply to used components 😉
@P4st3l1akIm guessing… cause that would mean time and resources coding and that would lead to dozens more bugs.
But yes it should be added to game

Does that really never happen? Have you tried deliberately testing with a really worn component?

I do every practice session and never had a part fail. What’s more I swap in my worn parts for practice. Mark doesn’t ever say during practice that you might see a reduction in power. I’ve done 1000s off practice sessions

Same as me. I also swap parts in FPs and even with worn-out components, Jeff never mentions reduced power or ERS charging.
@Ultrasonic_77, I mostly have mechanical DNFs on green parts, not worn. And it always happens in race, never in any other sessions 😉 Looks like Supercars roster is potentially being expanded https://racinggames.gg/f1/f1-driver-teases-expansion-of-supercars-in-f1-23/

I am getting even more sceptical about F1 23 now ... - @TotosHeadphones haha as Duck says, I posted Leclerc's pic with my reaction emoji. After nothing came of it I posted a few paragraphs aboyut my feelings on the matter.
TL;DR: Don't care about F1 Life and wouldn't mind it, as long as I'm still able to see the franchise going places. Having core game modes gathering mold from being stale for so long isn't very uplifting. - @ScarDuck14 Every time you talk about EA slack I just imagine you guys sat around a huge long table like the Stonecutters discussing clandestine F1 23 stuff 😅
It'd be nice if they drip fed some stuff to the community in official means rather than drivers making tenuous and cryptic social media posts. - @TotosHeadphones It’s more me bouncing off the walls posting nonsense and begging EA to get me a high end sim rig😂. I’m not joking 😂

- @TotosHeadphones I will say this all except maybe one😇 off the community team are really good towards me. If we raise issues we are listened to and a lot off the time what we say is acted upon. But we dont get any information before it’s officially announced.
