The only way you can update the wheel is on a PC. You will need the help of a friend, that's a Thrustmaster requirement. Firmware is important to console.

- Hi everyone, after the patch released today (game from xbox series X), the game feels weird with my wheel (thrustmasters TS-XW). I no longer feel the car in fast corners while until yesterday I really felt the weight of the car. Can anyone tell me if there is any problem with the steering wheel or the patch has caused problems with the thrustmasters steering wheels? If so, would anyone recommend me to update the steering wheel drivers? In case someone can help me and in case send me the link of the drivers or firmware to download. Many thanks in advance

Patch improved things for me actually. Was very prone to just fading out but 1.05 was better. The firmware is only released to help, but it was patch on PC as driver update on 1.02 was no change. No change to my wheel firmware but it varies by device.
