- P4st3l1ak3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Dechri have you tried to play around with camber and toe?
I had to change some of those settings to keep tyre temps down, especially for rear tyres. You sacrifice some performance but tyre wear is lower and you can make it back through field by overcut perhaps. - ajobling19833 years agoRising Ace

@ajobling1983There has been already plenty of discussion about this in threads on this forum. This is not news. This is a known issue of the new update.Well everything feels amazing for me. Best handling the franchise has produced. So it must be driving style / setups. If you cant back up what your saying with evidence, how do you expect things to get ‘fixed’ or for people to help?
It can be that you have some setting that causes the crash. For example in patch 1.05 (I don't know if it still the case since I haven't tried) if you changed the vertical offset in the camera to the max or one step below the game would start to crash randomly while driving. Reverting back the setting or lowering the offset resolved the issue. I'm sure there are other settings that can cause issues in the same way because the QA hasn't had the time to test all the configurations possible.
Crashing issues are some of the worst issues to determine the cause of as there are countless of reason as to why it happens in a specific system.

@Ultrasonic_77off course. Carcass stays pretty much the same. But when surface overheat, they lose grip. And they heat by ridiculous amounts. I mean the the tyres can go from from the lower end of working range to overheating so much that they suddenly loose grip in just one corner and with lowest pressures, don't you see and issue?Generally when people refer to tyres overheating they mean the carcass temps I think, and if there is an overheating issue it should show in the carcass temps. This video shows the issue now.

Have a read of this thread if you haven't already, where David Greco has posted relating to this if you haven't already:
- Wollcott3 years agoNew Ace@IbrahimAlZubadi did you change your pressures to almost minimum?
Sadly, I am again encountering issues that have been solved by the previous patch. I have no Force Feedback on my Fanatec CSL Elite. It worked before the 1.06 update, now it doesn't. It's a real shame because I really enjoy the game, but I can't play it without proper FFB.
- @Viirtualiized Turn the Understeer Enhancement off...
- Wollcott3 years agoNew Ace@Dechri the low pressures dont give you ideal grip thru fast corners and they are not as responsive as high pressures. what you are describing sounds like a result of low pressures and not an issue of overheating. surface temps to 110 or even 115 are not a problem at all.
- Wollcott3 years agoNew Ace@Dechri im 100% convinced this is pressure and setup related. because i adjusted my setups slitghly and i dont have an issue with overheating really. yes, i need to be careful and yes if i spin its mostly because the tires under low pressure arent responsive
- @P4st3l1ak I use the basic right, right, left, left. To my recollection, those are the minimun values and therefore should produce less heat.
