Just takes time and practise to manage no TC but it is possible.
@BauersomeMmm idk. In controller is impossible this year, no vibration, no traction. A little throttle and then you spin. Same settings as last year's game but definitely is not the same

Ahh - on controller? Yes, I can see it being pretty challenging. I'm on a wheel but it does take some getting used to.
Yeah, in previous games was kinda easy to race like that. OFC you made a mistake and you spin. But now literally you press a little bit the throttle and car goes crazy. I was actually playing 2021 rn, bc I thought I was crazy but indeed feels really different from this year. This Force Feedback bug make it unplayable ☹️

I've dropped the pressures and the grip is back and for a few laps I'm matching the AI again but then a few laps later I'm 2 seconds slower than my own times from a few laps earlier. No excessive tyre wear and the AI are maintaining strong pace. In the space of a few laps in my McLaren at France I'm racing Ocon for position to getting passed by both Williams like I'm standing still.
- @jenny_a_m The patch says that logitech wheels force feedback was fixed. But thats not the case for me on PC. Its still not working, its like nothing changed

@Ultrasonic_77It looks like it was just the performance of the vehicles in general, the performance patch should stay for the next updates. You may be right but what it says is:
* F1® 22 Vehicle Performance has been brought more in line with the real season.
If that wording actually means things like the torque curve change applied to all cars then it's terribly worded. What I at least read it to mean was to make relative car performance closer to reality.
Hopefully it will be apparent quite what is meant as people play the game post-patch.
Looks like my interpretation was correct on this occasion:

1. DRS light is broken in cockpit view. It never comes on
2. Driving in the wet with auto gears is now broken due to the longer gear ratios. Driving in the wet requires changing gear sooner to reduce wheel spin. We now have the oppositie.
- @SCDRRacing Im on controller and I have vibration in the main controller, but not in the triggers. The vibration starts when I lock up or when the wheels start spinning. I^m nowhere out there. Tip toing out of every corner and happy every time I manage not to spin.
Ive driven without TC and ABS since f1 2019 and it is out of the question to activate them.
The crew of this game need to adress this in a quick manner and take it seriously.
Not all of us can or will buy a wheel for various reasons.
My reason is Im +40 years old, and my wife will slaughter me if i bring home a complete rig :D I use Logitech Driving Force GT and it was great until this patch. Now, it doens't have any force feedback even tho' I put all settings to maximum. It's legit undriveable right now.
