online is absolute pinball fest now because everybody slides across the track. IN A 5 LAP RACE???!!! come on.
- 3 years ago@DavidG53 Please ignore people with such a tone. We really appreciate your detailed feedback, it's a big win this year 🙂

Yes, please try to ignore that kinda stuff. Hope mods are around.
I'd rather have a dev actually talk to us and take our feedback/suggestions than the silence that practically every other game brings.

@DavidG53 The trigger feedbacks in all platforms (ps5,pc, xbox) are giving no feedback to the rear tyres of the vehicle. If you go back to last years game, you can feel it in the triggers when the wheels were going to spin. In this years version the tyres are spinning and there is little to no feel in the triggers of the pad. This makes traction almost impossible for TC off players. Is there a fix coming to revert back to having feedback in the rear of the car?

- 3 years ago@PatrickSk89 sorry you are someone who plays offline and doesnt experience bugs and glitches that make your 80€ absolutely useless. sorry you are not someone who bought the champions edition on PC and found out on release day that you cannot even play with origin buyers.
- 3 years ago@Wollcott Apparently you love to attack other people out of nowhere. I thanked David and you need to get personal again without knowing me.

@DavidG53im sorry that at this point the patience is gone and there isnt much comprehension anymore! We payed 80€ for this game to play and we cannot play what we want because its broken as hell. A game should be released when its finished and not build it around weekly patches that bring new issues. I mean COME ON are you kidding me??? the FL bug with 1.07 makes the entire purpose gone and once again its gonna take 2 weeks until this is fixed.
Im really sorry that i cant keep the temper anymore but ffs you should unterstand why!?!?
We pay so much money every year and its the same old story. Broken game= patches= new bugs, new glitches = never fixed = new game, old stroy.
Really really sorry that this doesnt seem like an issue for you but for us league racers that sweat day in day out this is just unacceptable at this point. not even the sector times you are able to show in the HUD...
maybe show a little bit more understanding for us players that are just frustrated as hell that we have to experience an unplayable multiplayer, - 3 years ago

@Wollcottyou want to raise some more your tone? Takes me 1 second to never come back in this forum.Such a disapointing reply to someone trying to explain/discuss a real issue thats making a game mode unplayable.
It’s great that tyre temps changed to be at blanket temps at the start of formation lap. But there’s no reason that should apply to when formation lap is disabled. Especially in a game mode like ranked where its not even possible to enable formation lap. I can’t believe it is intented to have these race starts at blanket temperature.
When formation laps are disabled it should be as if a formation lap has been ’simulated’.
Its not realistic to be forced to start a race on 70*c temps. Thats why there are formation laps irl, to get tyre and brake temps up to a working window for a safe race start.
It’s because we love the game we get upset when something makes a game mode unplayable. Ranked was a great place to get action packed wheel to wheel racecraft practice. And I can’t believe the fix to have the correct temps at start of formation lap, also would make it impossible to have the tyres in a working window when formation lap is disabled.
And if it is impossible, then formation lap should/must be enabled (or atleast broadcasted) in ranked mode.- mariohomoh3 years agoHero (Retired)@WigglyStyle Why you think Greco's reply was disappointing? There's a stark contrast between how you expressed your frustration and gave your feedback here and how the user to whom David was replying to closed chose to behave.
I'm not content with F1 22 too. Love some aspects, but it's a big letdown in others. And you're correct regarding tyre temps and race starts on short, 5 laps ranked sessions: the game should definitely put you on flying lap stats on the grid.
I've been around since F1 2019 in the original forums. Plus a bunch of other forums and communities for the other racing titles I follow - ACC and GT7 in particular. I'm no modder, I'm no eSports player; I'm just a motorsports fan and what I seek in these communities is discussing everything from simracing to vehicle dynamics to strategy and real life events.
Now this is quickly turning into a vent post, but seriously the tone of some users around here like the one that was napping on David's heels on that quoted post... Nah, I don't think I'll last long here, mate.
Your post was flawless. And it was well made. Do not lump yourself on the same bucket as those being obnoxious and ill tempered.
If I am wearing down of this place as a regular user, how fast will devs like Greco and Porter linger around when this kind of interaction with the community is none of their business? That's for community managers and mods.- 3 years ago@mariohomoh Fair enough. It’s very possible I missed the context behind davids reply. If thats the case, my apologies. I was scrolling through and reading, and got the impression it was kinda uncalled for. But again, its very possible i missread the situation.

Can you take your ps supercars and the life back and give us back good A.I. and accurate laptimes? Apparently the FL at Bahrain was 19.56 my last race. You guys completely * up a great game. Seriously what the hell does EA do that is good these days?

@NoManuelAutoonlyThey expressly said numerous times that they are working on fixing the AI. What more can they do on the matter than working on fixing the issue? Do you expect these things to be magically fixed immediately just because you want them and want them now? I'm sorry but that's not how reality works and especially in game development things that may seem easy to fix from someone that doesn't know the context can be in reality very difficult to adjust properly.
I understand the frustration of users, because I'm one too and I have issues with the game myself (especially for what it concerns the VR implementation - to make a single example how the camera works, shaking all the screen instead of the cockpit as it's usually done) but this doesn't give me the freedom to be a narcissistic individual that thinks that the world revolves around him and expecting changes to be done at his personal whim and pace.
There are instances where it is appropriate and even necessary to make a scene about, and others where you just look like a fool doing so. If they did brush the problem of the AI under the rug then you will have a point on posting dozens of angry comments on the matter, but they said numerous times they are working on it (and David even clearly stated that they are aware that it's a game breaking bug and they will fix it). What more do you expect from them given the context? Fixes to a game don't magically fall from the sky.
I just ask you and others that are not satisfied with the product right now to at least be reasonable on the topics you put your anger towards.

Devs like him can decide to give up on us and go back to coding based on what they're provided with by their managers. And we would get only CM, their legally correct PR statements which might be not helpful at all.
At least devs can explain to us why things happen in game and we can give them feedback about what should change to make game more enjoyable for us.
And devs can also speed up bug fixing process as they can decide what more important, not someone whose job is only to reply "it's being worked on and will be fixed in future updates".
I understand the frustration, I am also a customer who isn't fully satisfied with the product, but we also must see beyond our anger and give them chance and time to fix things.

They received the full purchase price and we are not the testers of this game.
