While the new patch feels better to me in terms of FFB, I've noticed that something still feels off and leaves me feeling disconnected from the car. When my controller is plugged in I noticed that the vibration motors were activating when the tires began to "scrub" during understeer / oversteer, while spinning off the line and also while locking up under braking. But I couldn't feel any of this through my wheel. The only feeling coming through my wheel was it physically changing from heavier to lighter. Since I play in VR, I put the controller on my lap while playing so I could feel when the controllers vibration motors were activating. Surely enough they were activating during heavy tire load in a corner but my wheel was absolutely smooth, not a single bump. Same thing with race starts, I was able to better gauge how much traction I had based off the controllers vibration motors and not the FFB coming from my wheel. The only thing I felt was the wheel physically getting heavier to turn. I also felt when I was locking up from the controller vibrations instead of feeling anything from the wheel other than it getting slightly lighter. Has anyone else been able to test this out and see if you notice similar results? For reference I'm using a SC2 Pro with around 65-75 Overall in-game, 40 Road Effects/Kerb/Off-Track, 20 Damper ffb and 100% Overall FFB in True Drive.
