@PlayDj I'm sorry, but it likely is just a practice thing. When I started transitioning away from TC to no TC it wasn't easy. You have to rewire your brain not to just mash on the throttle all the time.
I'm on XBOX and before I got a wheel I drove with a pad with no TC and it was fine. Yes, I occasionally spun, but that wasn't the games fault. If you want something realistic, accept that occasionally you'll spin.
I think a lot of people who play this game *think* they want realism when what they really wan't is a game that's more arcade in nature but lets them *believe* it's actually realistic. (i.e. I want to drive with zero assists but never spin and always finish in first place in every race in all conditions)

@KVNR01 Ok I will train to be faster and not to spin.
But, why last year game, handling car was perfect and now it's not?
I'm on Xbox too, pad, and I used TC medium.
In my opinion, in F1 22, throttle management is not accurate.
Proof of this is patch, they changed handling.
But still not so good.

There's no such thing as a "perfect race sim/game". Your definition of "Perfect" may be different than mine which may be different than the next person's.
In the last game over body areo wasn't really modeled. In this year's game they updated the physics model to include over body areo and under-body areo as two different calculations.
Last years game, tire pressures basically did nothing, in this years game they are modeled into the physics.
Last years game was "perfect" if your definition of that means "not spinning with medium TC"
This year's game attempts to simulate more real world effects. For many people, anything that better simulates reality is more "perfect".
The devs of any sim game openly admit that no race sim *perfectly* simulates reality. But this years game attempts to get closer. Yeah, they released patches including changes to gear ratios and throttle curves. That doesn't mean last years game was perfect, it just means the devs are trying to get incrementally closer.
Everyone who plays any of these games need to be honest with themselves. Do you want a game that's (closer to) realistic but hard; or a game that tells you it's realistic even though it isn't, but is easy?
If it's the latter, then just run with more assists and turn down the AI and just have fun with it. Why is running with MD TC important to you? Why not just turn it to Full?- 3 years ago@KVNR01 Why I want use at least TC medium?
Because with TC full, I loose 1-2 seconds because of traction.
It's frustrating see other people and AI after a slow turn to gain on me 0,5-0,6 seconds just on acceleration.
So at least I wish use TC medium without problems.
Then, if I wanted a sim game, I would have chosen Assetto Corsa.
Ok all your words about this year car models are different compared to last year game.
But see the forum, see YouTubers, a lot of people says what I say.- 3 years ago@PlayDj
"Then, if I wanted a sim game, I would have chosen Assetto Corsa."
By your own admission you don't wan't a sim, you want a fun arcade style game. That's fine. Nothing wrong with that. Why not just turn down the AI level then and run full TC?
Conversely, you mentioned other people are running with MD TC and are faster than you. Doesn't that in and of itself indicate that it IS possible to use medium TC successfully? I have friends on my TT leaderboard using ABS and MD TC and faster than me (me running zero assists). The assists clearly work for some people just fine.
You can find plenty of people on this forum and YouTuber's who like the handling/physics model of this year's game. So that doesn't really hold water as proof there's anything wrong.
