I just finish the first season and I update the car nicely , now when I use the same car setups as first season ( new patch ) the car when before was taking some corner fast as was plenty grip , now spinning all the time in the same corner like the car upgrade are worthless , I should had this problem in the first season not the second one with a better car.
I stop playing as is very frustrated to keep using flashback as the car keep spinning in corners all the time , even with the prefix setup the car handling is terrible in the second season.
So on top of problem with gamepad that the automatic shifting is not working problem and the straight line missiles , now I cant even take fast corners any longer .
I got every F1 game but this as been the first time I post in this forum to vent my discontent .

After patch 1.07, In my team mode, after 5 races, I have encountered ZERO Safety Car or Virtual Safety Car even there were incidents on the track (with settings of INCREASED safety car frequency).
Also the AI have been much more overpowered in overall speed and seems like they did not suffer any pace loss from tire degradation at all.

The most racing games and sims are using a different tyre simulation in Time Trial
Then what about that ridiculous automatic shifting bug that's there all of a sudden? I'm still shocked to see the speeds some AI drivers have out of corners whereas I'm upgrading drag reduction, downforce and engine power and it seems to do nothing at all.
I'm a big fan of the franchise but this year's botched. I've got a 20-year old pool liner with fewer patches than this.

Please don't tell me it's just practice, I play only online, in every session, lot of people spinning without any contact.
I must play with TC full, results? 1/2 seconds slower but at least no spin.
Your issues may relate to tyre temperatures. Check them out to see what's going on...
Yeah I just started up shifting in those gears. It still auto downshifts when I’m slowing down. I’m on PS4.

Maybe I'm exaggerated to say it's undrivable, but it's very hard to drive and I'm afraid when I go on gas.
I thought online races were starting with 70 degree tyre temps and this was likely contributing to the spinning you were seeing?
