Patch 1.08 is available now for F1® 22 on all platforms. Check out what's in this patch below:
- Rebalancing of AI performance in Career
Please note that this update will apply to all current and existing saves.
After this patch, please anticipate an average decrease in Career difficulty by five. You may need to alter your save game settings for the best experience.

What exactly was the Patch now?? When i drove on 80 i need to increase to 85 and face the same issues like before? I don't get this patch really. Any impressions so far already? I had no trouble really with 80,season ended with just 5 points difference to Vettel,so pretty even and balanced to team mate.
Only changes difficulty by 5 points. I’ve had to drop 20 points from where i was at last year lol.
Yeah, no idea. Maybe its a fix for the insane traction they get or their weight has been increased, no one really knew what the issue is/was with the AI Speed in MyTeam/Career.
@PBR3491the "issue" is that AI has reduced weight. People say it only affects the corner exit speed, but forgive me if I am uneducated, lesser weight = higher power to weight ratio, hence higher top speed. If anything, AI can run higher downforce wings and still have the same top speed as me, an intellectual, with lower downforce wings

Official website says that 'Rebalancing career mode AI performance.
Is this the same issue or is it mislabeled?- @PBR3491 I really wish there were more details as to what was changed.
If all the AI characteristics are the same, and they just shifted the difficulty level … that’s not a fix.
