Edit: was trying to reply to specific question above but phone had weird issue.
On the straight line it works now on ps5. Just did a carreer race. Went from my 80 AI to 83. I could attack on the straight,hold them behind me. Worked well. It was Abu Dhabi so 2 nice straights for testing in a 50% race.
For me it's working...if anything I need to up the difficulty more. I was using the acceleration mod before and this is better

Hey mate,on GP mode normally i can increase AI by 5 more even,so this would be then on 88. I have no time now anymore for testing but myDriver carreer Mode gave me confidence for next season as i had abu Dhabi now. Maybe someone else is checking GP mode.
Well hopefully this patch will fix the AI's dominance through corners, out of corners and down the straights finally. Look forward to testing after work. Not sure what happened with 1.07 if it slowed me down or if the AI got better somehow, but the last 3 races of my season last night I struggled to crack the top 8 in qualy and race, but the races prior to that I was consistently running top 5 to podium. Seems really strange.
On another note, it would really be nice if a fix would come for the push to talk button to activate the MFD to message the crew. I'm so sick and tired of it deactivating during a race and having to restart the game. This issue was present last year and fixed, how it's back again this year and has gone 8 patches without being fixed is incredibly infuriating. I guess when you have a game with this many issues though every year this is what we get for our $80. Sad but true.
