Are you using auto or manual gearbox?  I haven’t tested yet but expect auto to still be slower due to the bug severe we hit the limiter on the straight.

(Driver Career, Mercedes; No assists; Could run my usual difficulty setting from prior games minus 1 or 2)

Overall: It is better than before but still not equal in my opinion after four races.
