@goodhand12 IMO, corner exit was always the issue. It's not that they're capable of reaching faster max speeds, it's that they're able to reach their top speed sooner down the straight and therefore carry that extra speed longer.
As you scale down AI levels it's the AI's traction out of corners that needs to be scaled back. Instead, it seems to be their corner entry and apex speeds that get scaled back. Ironically this just makes it harder because you have to slow more behind them, preventing you from carrying more speed through the corner, making corner exit for the player even harder still.

I am ALWAYS running up their tail pipe under brakes (hitting them most of the time) and then out of the corner they are GOOOOONNE - it is an entry mid speed - exit traction issue - not top speed !!!
