Hey, Simple tip:If you are not being able to compete against AI because they are faster than you... Maybe, the AI level that you are using is too high for you. And this is a different game than last year one.Most of the complains that I read could be solved if you LOW THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL.Start low, find your balance checking your team stats, your team mate level and you will find fun.This game is incredible. Perfect? Off course not. People is trying that the GAME GETS ADAPTED TO THEM. You will be happier if you try that YOU ADAPT TO THE GAME.Cheers and have fun guys

@PJ-THE_bot-II Yeah, but players that do 100% distance want the actual f1 rules to be followed, by allowing us to choose which tyres we take through qualifying and to the race. On 2021, there were 2 sets of mediums available in qualy and race, this year there’s just the 1 available making for extremely boring strategy options. Take a look at f1 over the past 2 years, it’s become clear that 2 mediums/ 1 hard, or 1 medium/ 2 hards have been the main strategies used. Only on occasion now the soft tyres play a big factor in the race itself, and this is only when the hard tyres are too hard or it’s too cold like Hungary was for them, plus fastest lap if there’s a big enough gap behind to go for fastest lap.All in all, which ever side, EA or CM, decided to remove a set of mediums from the qualifying pool made a colossal error.

When is the patch coming where we can finally use 2 Mediums and 2 Hard Tires in Tires. ? The developers have failed even with the small things

The technology they have for games has come leaps and bounds since years gone by
they can make this game a lot more realistic to what’s happening in real life
it seems though they don’t want to spend resources doing it
it’s like they need a Steve jobs in there pushing them to make the game better - I can see it can be improved - whether they do it or not will decide whether I continue to purchase ea games products

@PJ-THE_bot-II Seriously believe that the solution to all the errors and the according to you "Absence of reality" is only a few points in the AI, sometimes I have a hard time understanding people who say that the game does not feel so real, real in what? Have you ever had the dream of using or driving a REAL F1?!

Wheather forecast it is being a mess since patch 1.07 and it is still with patch 1.08, at least in career mode

Maybe EA needs to stop doing all their researches with real cars, physics, detailed tracks. EA just need to hear you master.
EA, give the guy a trophy and hear him please. He is the one.

So the way I play is with all assists but steering, ERS, and DRS. Up to and including 1.06 my AI was 60 at all tracks but qualifying at Singapore. When 1.07 came I had to drop the AI to 50. Based on my qualy and race times this morning, the AI at Silverstone needs to be Around 70.
But it is hard to figure it out. I used to use GP mode to set the AI but now I no that seems uncoupled.

@AEF251 If you playing career or my team. Find a ai driver with a pace off 85+ Ideally from the team your in if not. A team closest to you in performance rankings. Then during one off the practice sessions go to race director and look at his times whilst using mediums. For every second your faster/slower increase/decrease ai by 10. It won’t be perfect but should put you in the area you need to be. Then just fine tune ai by a couple to make it easier or harder.

I can’t be sure this year because off the problems with the ai. But 1 second = 10 ai in last years game.

I would always have lando or button as a team mate in my team last year and would always qualifying within half a second off eachother and finish race within a few seconds off eachother.
