How is the improvement on the AI difficulty in career mode? Tell us in this thread here!
This has got to be the worst F1 game in the series. Way to go EA. Norris is so overpowered in S2 of my career it's not even playable. The AI is just plain and simply messed up; they're far too fast out of corners still, through corners, and down the straights. The McLaren is 5th in performance on the grid. Norris is in 2nd. Ricciardo is in 4th here in race 1 at Bahrain. I lowered the AI to test, down 10 points from where I'd normally play. I took pole by .838 seconds over Norris... Again.. McLAren sits 5th in the performance order. Race comes along.. 4 laps in I'm up about 3.6 seconds on Norris. Lap 5 rolls around and suddenly Norris is closing fast. I'm thinking ok, maybe it's me? Lap 6 rolls around. Norris is all over my rear wing, dive bombing me into turns, and virtually impossible to keep behind me. In his McLaren... 5th in the performance order. Compared to me in my Ferrari ; the top team. Interestingly enough I look at the timing chart. I'm in the lead. Norris is now .2 seconds behind me. Leclerc is in 3rd and he's 7 seconds behind along with the rest of the field.
What kind of ridiculously stupid AI is this EA? Fix this broken mess of a game!!!!! It wasn't this bad in 1.07, 1.06 either. What the heck are you guys doing?! I thought this patch was supposed to FIX the AI in career mode.. all it's done is made it significantly worse.
What a joke this series has become, honestly. The last 2 especially, just a completely horrible experience. Thank god we have clothes, a stupid apartment, and stupid hypercars you can drive for 6 corners at a time. Pathetic.

For those guys, maybe the best patch from devs would have 1 item only to solve.
CurrentDifficultyNr += 50
Just raise the number (purely cosmetical) and they will feel more brave.
Oh, Now I'm racing on 493 AI difficulty... And still being overlaped
I must agree, I had to change my driving style for F1 22 because I became "Ricciardo" with one I used in F1 2021 😉
I went back with difficulty from 90 to 50 and after some changes I am slowly getting back to 80.
So i guess it's about evolving, like in real life 😉
And, as you said, there is no shame in doing so, no one sees or judges me 😉

I can’t be sure this year because off the problems with the ai. But 1 second = 10 ai in last years game.
I would always have lando or button as a team mate in my team last year and would always qualifying within half a second off eachother and finish race within a few seconds off eachother.
Only if Race Director actually showed lap times for others than you 😉
However, I am not sure if they already fixed it, it didn't worked last time I checked. And I must admit, that was before 1.08 and I haven't played the game since the latest patch was released.
Not sure if patch related but my My Team save was corrupted on XBox One and could not be loaded.
