EA Staff (Retired)hey, i have tried several times to play with my friend i'm on ps and he's on pc and it won't let me join the session it says either "join failed" or "error code NR7" i have tried everything you can possibly think of and i have already contacted ea help and codemasters help' both of them still haven't managed to solve my problem yet, i hope you have a solution, thanks
an issue i found: in race (career miode) being 1' place, quite in the end of race...........AI not receive blue flags and they compete like being in race (i mean the last ones that have to be passed). i notice that since patch 1.08...anyone has noticed that?

On another note, I'd like to report another bug/glitch that's been happening to me since one of the first patches after the original game release (june 28th - Champions Edition):
The audio for the Radio Victory Call is NOT playing anymore.
It was working just fine after the game was released, but then it stopped playing after the first patch and never worked again.
I press F2 to listen, but nothing happens:
Also, it doesn't play during a race when I win (or anyone else wins):
All the other audio in the game are playing just fine since day 1 (except for that one and only type of sound - the Radio Victory Call) - I can also use my mic to communicate with Marc just fine, so I'm pretty sure it's not an issue on my equipment (phones or mic), or outdated audio drivers, or anything - all my audio works just fine on my computer.
Anyone else experiencing this/these bug(s) too?

And yes, I had music set to 0 (zero) since day 1 (june 28th - Champions Edition) and although having those under the 'Music' audio group is not exactly smart (it should be under 'Speech', right?!), I've just did as you suggested and turned the music volume to 10 and.. it still did NOT work - no audio at all for the Radio Victory Calls..
Funny thing is is that it was working just fine right after that initial release, on june 28th and then after the very first patch after that release (I don't remember the exact date and/or the exact number of that patch, but I guess it was 1.04 or 1.05) it stopped working - so it IS something on one of those patches that screwed it up for me.
And yes, I already did a file integrity check (twice) and even actually uninstalled and reinstalled the game from scratch and still nothing.
Also, super weird that the only piece of audio that doesn't work for me is that particular one - ALL the other audio in the game works just fine - also the fact that I use my mic to talk to Marc shows that the problem is not on my own audio devices, which works just fine for me on my PC on all the other programs as well..
Last but not least..
I remember there was a similar issue last year with one of the patches on F1 2021 and it caused only the radio victory calls to stop working - but it was actually addressed by the devs and fixed on the following patch - so I can only assume a similar issue is happening now and it needs to be fixed as well - although last year it seemed to affect more people and this time it's affecting only me and maybe a few more people here and there..
