When I'm playing solo, it's not as bad as I do a flasback when that happens, but in co-op career we can't use that, so it's often race ruined when it happens.
In any case, I hope they didn't tone down it too much. I like that the AI is doing mistakes sometimes, just a bit less frequently and slightly less brainless stuff. Improvements of AI player awareness is even more important along with the difficulty balancing, slightly faster in corner entry/during corner and slighly less optimal in corner exist, and worse in wet conditions too.
Has this patch improved the main problem of the AI getting a speed boost on corner exit? as they are too fast in GP mode or Online AI
- 3 years ago@FG44141 The actual problem was fixed few patches ago already. They are fast out of corners, but not it's not a bug, just unbalanced compared to overal AI speed. It's not imppossible to match that exit speed though, but it's not easy (and if you use full TC, it will slow you down).

Merc engine turbo during deceleration is now AWFUL for tinnitus users. Is this really more realistic?
- 3 years ago@FG44141 it wasn't a problem in that mode. I played ONLY GP/Online modes before the problem was fixed for career/my team modes as I read too many horror stories about the problem. I did notice AI being really fast of out corner, but didn't feel unbeatable ever, not even in track like Miami where the problem was obvious in the career modes it existed according to bug reports.

@Ileleeeyou should visit social media or Reddit etc as this problem is the biggest complaint of the game the AI torque out of the corner is ridiculous. Even Jarno is complaining about it.To counter it you have to turn the AI difficulty down which means they are too slow on entry to the corner and easy to pass hence the complaints of 'passive' AI
Well that complaint still exists and the other of were now three months into the game and still cannot select more than 1 medium tyre in a race

First of all, thanks for the patch and for trying to make the game better!I still need to actually test the patch and I'll come back with a proper feedback after a few days, BUT.. there are some things I would already like to talk about:
- China/Shanghai International Circuit has been added to Time Trial, Grand Prix, and Multiplayer modes
Sorry, but I can't be happy about this (or any other new track) unless we can add them to the career modes from Season 2 onward..
- Ferrari Special Edition liveries now added in-game for a limited time
Cool, but it's a shame it's only for a limited time - it would be better if it was permanent and the players could choose which one they want to use..
- Improved AI racecraft logic and revised levels of aggression when attempting overtakes
I'm looking forward to test this and I hope they can keep their 'aggression', but without doing a bunch of stupid stuff, crashing into the players, ignoring that we're there, etc..
- Improved AI awareness and racecraft between Turn 9 and pit lane entry at Austria
This is good, but that pit entry is dangerous even in real life - a pitting player has to take the racing line at a pretty slow speed.. Don't understand why they did it like that - not wise IMO..
- Fixed previously incorrect penalty logic on pitlane entry at France/Paul Ricard
Good to read this - I kept getting a penalty for track limits going to the pits and never understood why..
- Flattened an incorrect bump in the track surface at Turn 3 at Azerbaijan/Baku
Good - I always had to avoid that little bump and had to use lots of Flashbacks because I would hit it and my car wouldn't brake properly for T3..
- Fixed an issue where, in some instances, host migration when loading into a cross-play social lobby can lead to split lobbies
Good. But the worst thing about the online lobbies is still the loading time between sessions (in general) and also those 'drivers' who remain standing still on the grid and after the race the entire lobby has to wait for 3 mins until we can move on, because those drivers will never cross the finish line (they seem to be 'bots' and 'ghosts' of players who already left the lobby) - and, for now, the only 'workaround' is by convincing most of the other players to vote to kick those 'ghosts'..
- Fixed an issue where rev lights were not working on Logitech wheelbases
It's a minor thing and although I have a G29 myself, I wouldn't bother much about it, BUT.. since you guys are saying this was finally fixed for several patches now, I hope this time you actually got it right, although I already read some comments about the rev lights still not working and people who lost their FFB and/or their wheel configs in the game - hope it's not my case..
- Fixed an issue where telemetry information was missing for race strategy and free practice sessions
I made a post about this issue, with pics and stuff, so.. good to know it got fixed!
- General Stability Improvements
Maybe this is a bunch of technical stuff, but it would be cool to get a list about these things too..
