So, I recently tried the patch out, and there are things I definitely need to criticize:
- The AI are still way too fast. I recently put up a post in which I stated that the player has way lower levels of grip than the AI, which therefore makes the game harder, because the AI can plow through several turns with full throttle while you are restricted to lower cornering speeds, which makes keeping up with the AI insanely hard. So in order to compensate this, the AI levels need to be recalculated, so that they are 10-15 levels slower than now, so the player can somewhat keep up on their desired AI level. Another way would be to give the player loads more grip and faster turn-in, so the player can keep up in fast, sweeping turns, but this requires rework on the handling model, and I don't know if the devs want to bother with it again.
- I don't know why, but Parc Fermé doesn't work anymore. This is a rule breaking game bug, because it allows you to change the setup before you go to the Formation Lap, giving you a huge advantage if Qualifying and Race have different conditions.
- Front wing damage still has a too high impact on the performance. On some tracks, it's fine, but if say an AI suffers minimal damage out of nowhere, they instantly pit in for a new wing. This is not F1 2021, so the effects of front wing damage need to be reduced, especially for Monaco, because Monaco in F1 2021 was pure horror with a damage model where minimal damage feels like you don't even have a front wing.
- Portimão and Shanghai are still unavailable to be used in Career Mode from Season 2 onward. Honestly, I do NOT understand why you guys even bother to get the license for the track, but refuse to insert it into Career Mode. It's not so hard, put Portimão in after Imola, just like last year, and put Shanghai in after Abu Dhabi. Done. This would make Career Mode a lot more interesting and give it more variety, because we had China in Career Mode last year as well, but only because 1. It was planned in the original calendar for 2021, and 2. It was part of Braking Point, so it was a neat bonus.
If you're reading this @jenny_a_m, please think about it and let the devs know, especially about the problem with the two new tracks. That would help us a lot.

Tell me guys, is this a bug or a feature?
While driving, when I open replay for a flashback, my camera always switches to T-cam. I only play from the cockpit. This is annoying. After select the moment from which I want to continue driving, the image returns to the cockpit.
The problem occurred in 1.09 and now in 1.10. I haven't played older versions of F122.

@WollcottStill don't understand why you bother getting the license for the track itself if you don't put it in Career Mode to give it more variety, sorry.
I mean, for real, I'm stuck running 16 race seasons to at least run different tracks each season for a bit of variety at the very least.

So... after this patch force feedback on my g29 wheel has just gone. It is acting like the game has no force feedback support, whatever setting I use. Even when I re install logitech drivers. It just not working.
And game starded to have a lot of frame drops... On my PC (i5 7th gen processor, 16 GB of RAM, SSD, GeForce 1060 6 GB RAM), F1 2021 was working perfectly (stable 80FPS) on high settings, here on F122 I have about 40FPS with drops to 20 on the lowest settings!!! Strange thing is that on the benchmark mode I hve 60-80FPS even on the high settings...

@LuckyNico92
I agree, Parc Ferme rules should be enforced if turned on.
But I had a difference experience with AI front damage. I raced Imola recently and AI made it a demolition derby, especially in first corner and in chicane up the hill. But driver ahead of me was reported a minor damage (by my engineer) and AI didn't go to pit. Replays showed it was front wing damage as part of endplate flew off. And car stayed on track until proper tyre pit stop. - 3 years ago@LuckyNico92 Have to disagree with the wing damage impact. Originally it was so minimal, that it never made any sense to change your wing and this was really unrealistic. Now it feels pretty realistic. It's just the AI in the game, with the unbalanced corner exit speed, makes most players drive on their skill limits all the time and any small handling disadvantage from damage can much more than it really is. I still think you can do okay with light damage on some tracks without need to change your wing.
Wing damage on AI is another thing. Can't say myself how much effect it has, as I haven't paid close attention. In any case, balancing changes should be done to the AI, not to player, unless something is clearly wrong in player side IMO.
