No assists, AI difficulty at 78%, playing on PC with a wheel.
- AI launch speed is MUCH faster compared to the player no matter how well you launch. Multiple people on Steam forums are talking about the same problem. Video link:

Note that the tyre temperatures in that video are on the cold side (76-79 °C), which will be a contributing factor. Tyre warm-up is a much bigger factor in this game than last year.
Havnt kept up with the thread so apologies if this has already been discussed. But how is everyone finding the AI in my team? I see their aggression was adjusted/fixed in the patch. And I’ve dominated in both Hungary and Netherlands where normally I’ve Struggled beating them on 75- 80. It looks as though I can now increase to 90Ish which is what i set the ai to at majority of tracks.
Netherlands is one off my weakest tracks. So took all new parts as I was expecting to suck and finish poorly if at all. But just won 50% race last to first.

AI in my team races seems (the nature of engine penalties and new components making it hard to be sure) to have slowed down over all. So whereas I was at 70 at all tracks but Monaco, Baku, and Singapore, now 75 would be more correct. BUT I also found that the AI is faster than it should be in qualifying at Mexico and Brazil by about 5.
So to me it seems that the AI consistency when I raced on 1.07 is gone and we may be heading back to a seperate qualy and race AI, as well as track to track.
Is the gap between My Team and GP Ai closed? I recall someone saying the two have been diverging with each patch.

@ScarDuck14, I felt some difference towards the AI too. Not only its aggressiveness (which lowered by a decent amount) but also on its level. My doubt is: do we have more grip or is the low gear torque adjusted? Fact is that it's easier to follow now.
@AEF251 I felt the opposite. I did Bahrain, Saudi and Australia 100% races this weekend and the 3 had AI level at 85. Prior to the patch/hotfix I recorded them as 74/85/82. Also didn't noticed any difference from Qualy to Race other than the already existing prior patch/hotfix.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@AEF251 May have spoke to soon. At Brazil now. But since Singapore practice programs have been hard to purple. And Qualifying Button(teammate) has been killing me: however after 5ish laps Into race I’ll pass him build and 5-10 second lead. The. See it disappear in the last 2 laps. But he’s served his purpose with his 90+ experience level and helped win constructors: So won’t be renewing his contract. May hire the lowest rated driver

Found this issue, not sure if it's known ☹️
Already in full SC queue, but game thinks I am still trying to reach it. So it flickers messages "Catch the queue" and "Don't exceed delta".
UPDATE: reason for this seems to be inability of AI cars to bunch up after SC. They still seem to follow delta and drive slowly, like during VSC or before SC catches up with first car. And before finishing the lap, I get "Your delta is too high, we risk a penalty".
So definitely something's wrong with SC procedure.
