EA Staff (Retired)@jenny_a_mEven if not listed (and I sincerely don't know why it is so) there are a host of improvements for VR in this patch. I didn't invest too much time to look everywhere for possible changes, as I was really happy to see VR finally get some love, so probably there are other things improved (finger crossed for DLSS sharpening finally working) but these are the very good improvements I could spot immediately:
- The camera is finally in sync and there's no more that awkward movement of the screen while moving the headset (especially noticeable on vertical movement but it was there also for horizontal ones causing that feeling of "jerkiness").
- VRS has been introduced and it works very well.
- The experience overall is much smoother (also thanks to the fixed camera).
With the upcoming RTX 4090 (for those who can afford it) this game will look fantastic in VR so the update couldn't come at a better time.
So thank you very much for finally improving the VR build. It is a good beginning (and I hope you will continue to improve the experience, possibly faster next time around 😉 )
