@Dechri I am not sure you even get a better 2stop in 100% races. I've done 3 or 4 full race lengths, just to compare tyre wear to shorter races, and noticed tyre life extends with race length. So if Mediums suppose to last 15 laps in 50% race, then their expected life is about 30 laps in 100%.
After completing Race Strategy programme, I usually ended up with one stop Soft/Medium tyre strategy before full length race start, where Softs lasted almost 20 laps (depended on the track and my aggressiveness, of course).
I think game also counts in how many Softs you spared in Quali. I read in some previous topics about using quali tyres right-to-left and not the default game offers you, to save them for race. And because I suck at quali, I don't usually make it to Q3 😉 So I end up with two new sets of Softs for race.
I think two stop strategy is good if you have a fast car and you expect to wear down tyres due to aggressive racing. Then you can easily make up for time lost in pit stops. Or you anticipate an SC/VSC during the race.
I use custom setups for races so I try to be gentle to tyres and never needed to use two stops unless unexpected circumstances (SC or collision). I try to emulate Patron Saint of Tyre Protectors (i.e. Checo's) racing style 😉
I don't think it's accurate to compare F1 22 and F1 2020 because game physics are different. And Pirelli changed tyre compounds in 2022 season which I guess devs had to implement into game, too.

- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@P4st3l1ak 25% races were x4 but was reduced to x2 so players could push for entire race… I assume as more casual and players race 25% or under races. I only ever do 50 or 100 so don’t have first hand knowledge but it came from The Greco Dude
