The tyre allocation in career mode is locked!!!! You Can only change the tyre allocation in grand Prix mode, I'm in season 2 and locked with hards in qualifying and no hards in practice at all!!! Do I need to restart my career all over again?????
I'd expect it to be locked in Balanced then, not Harder option. Because as @tzk4zqceq735 stated, we don't have any Hards available for FPs and only one Medium for Tyre/Fuel/Race Strategy programmes. And if FP1 is wet session, those Mediums are lost before FP2 :/
Previous game versions replaced some Softs with different compounds, not just swap them around. I would expect similar behaviour here.
The only advantage is that we now have extra Mediums (and Hards) available for race.
But it looks like these new M or H tyres cause "not using two different sets of dry tires" penalty 😉
(it seems to me like they are still considered Softs internally)

hmm, I could check only today with my save of a GP mode season (started before patch 1.15), but it looks there is something weird with tyres available after patch 1.15 🤐

We went from too many Softs to too few!
For the race I have:
- 2 (H) all surely new;
- 2 (M) all new unless I use one in Q1;
- only 2 (S) clearly used and even too few for Qualifying itself.
Given that the ideal would be to be able to choose (but at least in GP mode it doesn't seem possible, am I wrong? Not even among the presets), in some GP these new available tyres may be ok but in others surely not (I think the most). If a fixed choice has to be set, I think it's better to have +1 (S) and -1 (H), exactly like GP mode works when you start a new season after patch 1.15.
Is it possible to have a fix about?
