FEEDBACK ON THE PATCH (after testing it):
So, to those wondering how it works..
- CHINA can be added to the calendar between Australia & Imola:
- PORTUGAL can be added to the calendar between Mexico & Brazil:
This is how it works for seasons of 10 or 16 races.
I don't know how it works for seasons with 22 races, but I can only assume all you need to do is to replace TWO of the original 22 races by China and Portugal.
It's great to have them in the calendar from Season 2 onwards - thanks to the devs for that - HOWEVER.. it would be great to be able to insert them anywhere in the calendar in the place of any of the tracks we are replacing - for example.. on a 22 races season, let's say I take Baku and Zandvoort out.. then I could put China or Portugal in Baku's place and the remaining track in Zandvoort's place - etc, etc, etc..
I think it would be cool if we could 'build' our calendar EXACTLY as we can do when we create an online lobby ourselves - using that same screen and 'mechanics' to add tracks (in any order we want) - just a suggestion..

About the tyres selection, here's how it works if you click on the TYRES ALLOCATION option BEFORE going into the Race Weekend:
Now we have 3 options to choose: SOFTER, BALANCED and HARDER - I believe the BALANCED one is the previous (and only) default option and the other two are as it follows:
BALANCED (original/default):
SOFTER:
HARDER:
In all options, you still have 8 sets of Softs, 3 sets of Mediums and 2 sets of Hards, but they're distributed differently throughout the sessions.
I still need to test them all and get to know exactly how they work for the actual race, depending on the compounds you use during all the previous sessions (FPs and Qs) and also what compounds (and how many sets of each) you have available to you during the actual race, both when you go through all of the previous sessions and also when you just skip everything and go straight to the race - but all in all, I think having these 3 options really already helps a lot, depending on the intended race pit stop strategy the players want to use.
BUT, it's also good to check and see if everything is actually working properly, since there are people talking about lots of cars getting DNFed for 'not using different compounds', even when they actually did it - maybe a glitch that would require a patch hotfix (what a surprise, am I right?!..)
...
I did these tests on an 'old' save (MyTeam, end of season 5 and beginning of season 6) and it all seemed to work just fine - we already noticed that some 'old saves' could have issues after some of the latest patches, but fresh new saves used to work perfectly fine, so.. if you guys can, simply begin a fresh new career just to make sure no glitches would happen - but I also ask the devs to do all they can to NOT 'force' the drivers to drop their old saves and restart their careers from scratch on each new patch - this kinda sucks, come on..
...
On a negative note, I was hoping that the new patch would help to solve a problem that's been happening to me and some other players on Steam as well for about 2 or 3 weeks now, but.. the problem is still there:
I just can't join any cross play lobbies and I keep getting the error message below - if I turn cross play off, I can join Steam only lobbies just fine:
I play the game on a PC, through Steam and I have the Champions Edition version of it (not that it matters, but just to let you guys know)..
...
All in all, it was a good patch and I hope you guys can keep trying to make this game better and better - it's still far from perfect, but it still has a LOT of potential and it CAN be improved before we need to wait for F1 23..
Quick ad:
I stream my F1 22 gameplays on Twitch, almost daily (MyTeam during the week days and Open Lobbies on the weekends - at least before I was getting the damn PM7 error above) - small streamer trying to grow - any support is more than welcome:
Cheers, everyone!

@ScarDuck14
Thanks and cheers, mate!
I understand there's probably some reason why the tracks were put on those specific places in the calendar - and that's not a problem.
I just tried to suggest and mention that IF it was possible that we could add them at ANY point during the season and/or that we could even build an 100% custom season, with the races in ANY order (or even any number of races), that it would be great - super not likely to happen, I know.. but.. it would be great, right?DREAM ON!!! - lol - cheers again, my friend!
