EA Staff (Retired)sorry for the question, but is there any news regarding the disqualification bug for mandatary tires?
I had read about this bug and i have suspended my MyTeam career to avoid problems, but haven't seen any game updates in the meantime.
I wanted to know if I can take it back safely or risk being disqualified at every race. At the moment I'm in Monza and I don't feel like starting a career from zero.
@clovis993Reimplementing tyre selection has caused a few different issues. so may take a little bit off time to find and fix them. The allocation choice at the start is off a season… staying locked for every race after. I’m hoping that it’s a case off a new coder not realising they hadn’t unlocked every race:
The Dsq will should only be a issue once you’ve started a new season and changing tyre allocation to either softer or harder. Don’t change it and I think you will be fine.
I’ve done 5 races in a new season and not a single Dsq. It seems to be just sprint weekends it happens as the tyre allocations are different: and if you chose softer/harder allocations I’m thinking those choices don’t take into a account the sprint race which causes conflict and Dsq
