EA Staff (Retired)@Ultrasonic_77 the only thing I can't exclude is a conflict with something else that is installed, but I don't know if that is even possible on a console or what more to try as I already attempted playing offline and with all accessories disconnected. I know of quite a few people with the same issue, but none of them can be bothered to make an account here and post about it, so they just gave up and switched back to Quality mode.

Otis is referring to enabling telemetry on an XBOX One so that's an entirely different issue to what you're experiencing in performance mode on an XBOX Series console.
Can you think of anything in common with the others you know with issues? This may help point to the cause.
Consoles won't be totally immune to conflicts with other applications. I think you've previously said you like to stream on Twitch? Does uninstalling the Twitch app make any difference for example? That's the sort of thing I'd be exploring in your position. Although if you know there are others who stream on Twitch from XSX/S in performance mode then I suppose it shouldn't be that.
If I switch my Tv display from game to cinema I get horrendous stuttering and screen tearing in performance mode.

If you have more than 120 friends, you will not see your friends list.
