F1 2014 Steering Bug at 25% or more? (and a 'fix')

I realise that F1 2014 is not widely played nowadays, but I can't be the only person who has found this steering bug that only occurs when playing 25% or more distances. Everything works fine at 3...

for me it was the ai they goo off the track at one specific corner

in places like sepang montreal
