f1 2022 crossplay between Steam and Origin on PC

If I buy F1 2022 on Steam, can I play with my friend who bought it on Origin ?

    Hey everyone, 

    Origin and Steam will not be able to play online together. When crossplay is introduced later in development, then all platforms can play together in supported crossplay modes (Social Play and Two-Player Career modes)

I was able to get a refund for my EA Play Pro yearly membership due to this being false advertisement.

Had to take some time in a chat with EA support but I got my money back within minutes and now bought the game on Steam.

One issue left now: Steam isn't released yet :D
