f1 2022 crossplay between Steam and Origin on PC

If I buy F1 2022 on Steam, can I play with my friend who bought it on Origin ?

    Hey everyone, 

    Origin and Steam will not be able to play online together. When crossplay is introduced later in development, then all platforms can play together in supported crossplay modes (Social Play and Two-Player Career modes)

absolut insane from ea...dropping informations like this on release day when the most people already preordered the game and wasted their money to NOT PLAY together <3 amazing work like always EA
