f1 2022 crossplay between Steam and Origin on PC

If I buy F1 2022 on Steam, can I play with my friend who bought it on Origin ?

    Hey everyone, 

    Origin and Steam will not be able to play online together. When crossplay is introduced later in development, then all platforms can play together in supported crossplay modes (Social Play and Two-Player Career modes)

@AllStarzzz91 Personally, I think we will get crossplay in September at the earliest and by November-December this year at the latest. Unfortunately, we have to be patient and there is nothing we can do about it.
It's embarrassing that even the PC has been split into steam server origin and Epic Games.

      So, Steam version works with background Origin client. So, for fast game you have to all buy origin. There is a rule - riight people have to buy EA game only in Origin.

      But the choose is different.

      Nobody tell as how VR will be in origin?

      In description of  origin version of game you can read that no crossplay even between origin and steam.

      In description of origin version of gave you can read that there are no VOIP chat on ORIGIN, only third party chats.

      What I can do? What version I have to buy for fast game?
