f1 2022 crossplay between Steam and Origin on PC

If I buy F1 2022 on Steam, can I play with my friend who bought it on Origin ?

    Hey everyone, 

    Origin and Steam will not be able to play online together. When crossplay is introduced later in development, then all platforms can play together in supported crossplay modes (Social Play and Two-Player Career modes)

Thank god my third party vendor gave me a refund, so that I could buy it on Steam. Was €10 more pr copy, but totally worth actually being able to play with my firends.

@Sm4ckk i bought the game on origin thinking that i would be able to lay with my friends on steam but that is not the case. i got the game through a origin code that i found online that was around 45 euros but now i want to refund and rebuy the game on steam hiw can i do that
