F1 22 - Hoping for the best.

F1 2021 felt like a carbon copy of F1 2020 with Braking Point, a mode that I loved and a mode I think having a sabbatical in 2022 might help. I'm intrigued into what F1 Life entails and I'm very sure Codies have nailed this.

My biggest hope for '22 is that ALL circuits are up to date and as close to IRL as possible. Mexico is one track that is a fair bit away from real-life but having the updated Australia, Spain and Yas Marina is very good to hear. Miami, based on the footage we got today, looks so well designed. We'll see how this translates into normal games.

Based on the leaks, which one must take with a pinch of salt, I leaped with joy over the prospect of custom liveries with real sponsors and it's something I am very much looking forward to further increase the realistic aspects of Career Modes.

Trying to get acquainted with this forum I've never heard about before, bugs aren't an issue I typically see in normal games unless I beta test. I did use the old Codies Forum so I know the basics.

  • Can't believe you've played F1 2020 and F1 2021 and not found a bug :D

  • @NORGZ5 The only thing I can say about F1 life is there will be micro transactions galore. Also the Miami track in game will actually be more realistic then the real life circuit as the game gets a real marina and not a fake one. 😂

I don't play multiplayer because I don't have friends lol

Career Mode doesn't tend to have bugs, but the one bug I found in 2020 I kept quiet because I didn't want it patched. I thought it was cool to explore the tracks.

  • I can guarantee it was raised by someone else. They all are. The miami AT video had me slightly worried, as it literally looks like a reskin, just with a new track.. and they've somehow made the mfd / UI look worse. Hoping for beta news soon or a 10 hour trial at least. No way I'm dropping full price on launch like last year after that fiasco

So as also another video got onto youtube it can be confirmed (from what we players know) that the engine sounds got a rework..

The Merc engine has a much more audible turbo, even more than IRL and in general a bit too much substance in the high frequencies compared to real life.. IMO it would be quite realistic in the middle between 2021 and 2022 but at least we can confirm, they have changed a bit!
