My friends and I are currently having this issue. I don’t want to leave the league and lose all my progress trying to fix it. If it doesn’t work then I won’t even be able to join any leagues for careers as the mail won’t load. This is very stupid for this to be in the game and the fact it’s not fixed after all these months is unbelievable. We all have the glitch.

You can join a league using access code. Then you don't need to use mail, still sucks for C🤭p but for leagues it work.
