Same for me on PS5 with Dualsense.
The deadzone at the end of the trigger is huge, the control is so hard this year. Also no rumble vibration regarding traction loss.
Guys try turning triggers off.. I and a few others have found you get more travel with the accelerator
The triggers are so weak this year your pushing through the haptic/rumble without noticing. When triggers are off those features being inactive give you old school travel. Not great but some off us find it helps
Increasing throttle linearity anywhere from 50-100% will also help.
Then try playing around with max wheel rotation in FFB. Try increasing it incrementally by 10-20. It’ll make accelerating out off corners abit easier. However increasing it to much will make steering in slow chicanes less responsive. Personally I find 380-410 works for me track depending. A few I know have found 440 to be their sweet spot.
Finally if using manual gears. The meta is to stay in high gears for slow corners. 2nd gear corner is now 3rd gear 3rd gear corner now 4th etc. this will also help traction. However If using auto gears you’ll have to make do and practice feathering the throttle until you have the finesse off a brain surgeon
