F1 22 auto save help

I play on xbox one and when I tried to exit team career mode it said auto save failed with 2 options, quit to main menu or retry. I retried multiple times and still said it auto save failed. I pressed the quit to main menu button and got another warning that if I continue my progress won't be saved. I accidentally pressed it and lost my progress. Next day I logged in and did one grand Prix and wanted to exit and believe it didn't save my progress. How can I fix this, or then auto save back on.
