@EA_rephii The email address sadly no longer exists! Have tried account recovery but apparently that's not active...

Hey @Switchar88,
in this case, you would need to contact our support team and let them know that you don't have access to your e-mail any more. They will try and recover your EA Account with asking some account details and will verify you in that way.
Once the verification is done, they will be able to update your email address and you should be able to access it again. You can reach out to our team here
Use this topic: Origin | PC | Manage my account | Can't log in
and you should be able to chat or phone with our advisors directly.
Let me know how that went!

@EA_rephii I have just spent some time on the phone with them. They have said the account is deleted and there's nothing they can do to recover it....

Hey @Switchar88,
we usually do not delete accounts just like that. It might be disabled here, so you should try the same as I recommended above and try and send reset emails you might have used for the EA Account.

I have now even paid to have that email address back again, but the password reset emails arn't coming through. This is ridiculous! I never even closed my account, it was due to inactivity.

Mine was apparently deleted too. Support said to reactivate the account using the email address that created the account, but I'm using the account...
So I thought maybe I created my current account with a different email address and then changed it to my current email address. The support page says in this case to change the email address of the new account. I changed the email to something else, tried to reset the password of the email which would have created the account, but it says the account doesn't exist.
The problem with this is apparently there is no way to unlink your PSN account if the EA account has been deleted, which is possibly the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. Especially seeing as there is no way now to recover my account.
- 3 years ago@EA_rephii EA stop blaming the users. Solve it on your side. And, I would appreciate it if you at least don't try to log me in automatically upon starting the game. The login doesn't work (I didn't have an EA account, created one, but it still doesn't work) so I don't want to be confronted with it everytime I start the game.

Hi everyone
The only solution that I found so far was to create a new ea account with another email address and link that to a new xbox live account to go through.
Other than that, still same issue.
At least now I can play online.

I have the same issue where I cannot find or even access the old email. Apparently my old EA account is deactivated and linked to my PSN. The chat rep (Sisty) I am speaking to right now said the following:
"I would also like to inform you that we can not check the email associated with the deleted EA account or un link PSN ID from deleted EA account and also we can not restore the deleted account. Only you can restore the account if you remember the correct EA account email. Please visit the link below to understand how to restore your deleted EA account : https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/close-ea-account/"
She then stated that if I can't access the old EA account, then I am essentially out of luck. Any help here? I literally copied and pasted what you said in your comment and she said she couldn't help. - 3 years ago
Unfortunately I have the same issue since launch. This is the same reply and they say they have many people complaining of the same issue. Surely they’re can be a fail safe for these things. I’m currently playing on a dud gamertag as i cannot play on my main gamertag. Utterly ridiculous.
