I pre-ordered F1 2022 Champions Edition digital game, for some apparent reason i cannot log into my EA account, on F1 2021 it automatically logged in for me and the first time starting F1 2022 is says im unable to log in and i need to reset my password. I have followed all the prompts by resetting my password, changing my account name, and every time i try to log into the game it still says i can't sign in i have to reset my password, please help me out as this is a little frustrating as I've been looking forward to this game for a while now.

Hi EA,
After several attempts, many account setting changes and everything, i am still unable to log into my ea account on f1 22. This is beyond frustrating now as i was looking forward to playing the game, but now im nothing but disappointed. I was using online chat help all night last night and none of the solutions your team came up with, helped solve my problem. If i am unable to have this issue resolved i would like to be compensated in some way.
I have tried several times to link my playstation account to my ea account and every time i try this it says i need to reset my password, once i reset my password and try to log in via the psn link button it continues to ask me to reset my password again. I want to know what my other options are as i want to play the game but I cannot wait any longer.
Also, for some reason i am able to link my ea account with google without hassle but every time i try to do it with psn it says i need to reset my password and even after doing that it still doesn't link my ea to psn account.

I have the exact same issue and cannot find a fix for it anywhere. I have changed my password and it still says I need to reset it because my login credentials have expired. Clearly that’s not correct as my login works with literally every other platform.

They're telling me that my account is linked to a deleted EA account, which I dont have access to the email it was registered too.
But they're saying they cant unlink them? Stupid!
So frustrating!!

It is so simple! Just unlink whatever linked account which is deleted.
Hmmm - still not working - 5 hours after my last post. Login screen says I need to reset my password - use camera to take photo of
QR scan - did that - twice - changed password - rebooted PS5 - no change - can not get PS5 to get past that
QR scan screen - yet my account information - name - appears in top right corner - but listed as offline.
Please fix this...

Same here. For some reason the game just keeps telling me to retry. Account info is correct, checked on my laptop.

However that is simply not true: I still old my EA account from 2011, long before you could connect your PSN to an EA account, and yet I have the same issue.Did anyone find a solution? if support tells you, that the account is deactivated, you need to reset your password for the email that was last assigned to your EA Account, that is the only way to gain access back to your account.
We cannot unlink your PSN account if you are not verified as the owner of the account.If you have further questions, please let me know.

I spent 4 hours last night recovering a 10+ year old Hotmail account just to reactivate an old PSN and old EA account. Turns out, neither accounts have any linked EA to PSN data. So EA led me on a wild goose chase to get my game running.
I have zero issues with F1 21, just 2022. I reactivated the account EA told me was tied to my PSN, nothing is there. Now there is no solution except to get a refund on my PSN, make a new PSN, and purchase the game again and link to a new EA account.
I am unable to play any of the new EA games online because of their EA account usage. I've been on a call with support today who notified me that I have an old EA account which was automatically disabled due to inactivity. This old account is apparently linked to my PSN.
At some point I must have created a new EA account. And here's the kicker - it let me use the same email address as the old account (I've only ever had one email address - and it's the same as my PSN email!). So, now I can't reactivate the old account because whenever I attempt to reset my password, it resets it for the new account. Apparently there is no other way for me to access my old account.
Their proposed solution was to create a new PSN, which is wholly unviable. You cannot expect customers to create new PSN accounts (where numerous previous purchases are tied) just to play EA games online.
Exact same problem for me too. Contacted support as well, and same deal "linked to deleted account".
Federation between identity providers shouldn't work in this way. EA should manage my EA associated with by PSN ID without me having to manage a password. That's half the point (and clearly how previous games were working).
In my situation, I have every email address I've used in the past 20 years saved in my password manager. I've tried them all, and discovered 2 EA accounts I didn't know I had / didn't remember creating. Still, none of them linked to my PSN ID. Make me a feature so I can recover my EA account from my PSN ID, if there really was an email associated with it. I already provided proof that I own the PSN ID (by signing in via PlayStation), so use that login to help me recover my unknown EA account or allow me to disconnect it at least so I can reconnect it to an existing one.
It's crazy that we paid money for this game when we can't even use all of the features. I'm considering requesting a refund through PS support if EA can't find a better solution to this.

I don't know what they did, but I gave my PSN ID, my EA ID and somehow, then I logged in to EA on my computer, I could link my EA account to PSN! Three days I tried to log in, every time got the page, there I need to reset my EA password, resetted it dozens times and nothing worked. After contacting EA support via live chat, somehow I can log in and I see that my account linked to PSN!
Try support live chat! Helped me!
