I'm having this issue as well. Only one email address associated with my EA account. I have EA Play with games I play using that account. I know my account and password are in good standing. I changed my password anyway but to no avail. Still getting the same error and getting no option to actually input my email and password.
How frustrating. Buying the expensive version to get it a couple days early and can't even play it the way I want to.

Unfortunately I’m in the same boat as all you guys. I even tried messaging PlayStation to get a refund, but since the game has been downloaded to my consul I cannot get a refund. So now I’m stuck with a game that doesn’t have online capabilities all thanks to EA

how are you guys adding the game to your new PSN? I was told if I make a new PSN, I would need to purchase the game again on the new PSN.
Definitely do not want to buy a game twice when EA can’t get the first purchase to work right.

@FwazzyI just made a new PSN account on my PS5 and the game was there. However, EA would not provide my 18,000 pitcoins to that PSN, despite needing a new PSN to link to EA for online connectivity is the only workaround. Also, I tried to request a refund from Sony because now I have a game that literally can't connect to EA for online play, they are actually denying a refund still because it downloaded. How could we even know this would be an issue prior to loading the game?
