I pre-ordered F1 2022 Champions Edition digital game, for some apparent reason i cannot log into my EA account, on F1 2021 it automatically logged in for me and the first time starting F1 2022 is says im unable to log in and i need to reset my password. I have followed all the prompts by resetting my password, changing my account name, and every time i try to log into the game it still says i can't sign in i have to reset my password, please help me out as this is a little frustrating as I've been looking forward to this game for a while now.

I am unable to play any of the new EA games online because of their EA account usage. I've been on a call with support today who notified me that I have an old EA account which was automatically disabled due to inactivity. This old account is apparently linked to my PSN.
At some point I must have created a new EA account. And here's the kicker - it let me use the same email address as the old account (I've only ever had one email address - and it's the same as my PSN email!). So, now I can't reactivate the old account because whenever I attempt to reset my password, it resets it for the new account. Apparently there is no other way for me to access my old account.
Their proposed solution was to create a new PSN, which is wholly unviable. You cannot expect customers to create new PSN accounts (where numerous previous purchases are tied) just to play EA games online.
