@SteveJackson After update 1.12 the gane was working fine and i no longer get the crash. I dont know what caused it but just now when i pressed on continue my team career the game gave me an ego dumper crash. I have read on the forums that thats something that has to do with the mika hakkinen dlc? Do you have any idea?

Honestly, no. Like many, I wouldn't start a career as it is often broken during the patch cycle (which is now almost 9 months of the game). Some have reported that, CM have form for broken DLC, sounds unsurprisingly possible....
Patch updating is literally verifying your Steam files.
