Got the same thing. I would do a race or run highlights, the game would freeze at random times. Just recently, I lost a Mercedes one-two in Hungary after I finished the race.
Here's to hoping you guys submit it to Codemasters so they can work on a fix for PS4 consoles. It's not day one yet, so here's to hoping the Day One Patch contains this very fix.
