@EA_BarryCan confirm that rebooting in safe mode does not work. Game is still freezing on ps4, its definitely an issue with the game, not the console
I got all the way to Q1 in Spain before I encountered this problem. I used a flashback after a turn 1 incident on my first flying lap (had a coming together with Alonso). Got to the same point on the track after the flashback, and the game froze. When I force quit the game, my PS4 gave me an error message about the system software. I restarted the game and have gotten through qualifying.
Next up, the race, so we'll see.
