Also, try booting in Safe Mode and choose Option 5, Rebuild Database:

Mine is freezing every time at same place, same situation. I was racing on Imola in career mode when at lap 4 with Senna after me in second place and Lecrerc after Senna (exactly same situation for both freezing) my wheel just turned all to the left with force feedback locking it.
I just can rebuild database or reinstall the game but I doubt if is gonna help.
